Partners: Mizuno, Rembrandt & Rijksmuseum
Obviously it was the Night Watch, the greatest masterpiece of Rembrandt, that inspired Mizuno to create their latest limited edition running shoe. The black shoe with typical golden ‘clair-obscur’ details instilled us with enough creative input to create a commercial that would honor the year of Rembrandt.
Rembrandt was the master of ‘clair-obscur’, a technique that uses strong light and darkness contrasts, which results in a dramatic effect.
